There’s a reason why home-makeover shows remain a massively-popular TV genre. Who doesn’t enjoy an afternoon-on-the-couch marathon of fabrics, finishes, and fixtures (not to mention some talented home improvement know-how!) while dreaming about a better version of what was and a new beginning for what could be?
Residents who live at four Sage Meadow Assisted Living and Memory Care communities throughout mid and eastern Wisconsin are making their home-makeover dreams a reality.
“The design refresh at four of our Sage Meadow communities is exactly the re-set needed to properly showcase all that these assisted living and memory care communities have to offer,” says Roth Weaver, Chief Operating Officer of Matthews Senior Living, a premier owner, operator and developer of senior living communities throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.
“From Middleton to Fond du Lac and De Pere to Lake Geneva, each Sage Meadow Assisted Living and Memory Care community is well established and situated in a great neighborhood,” says Weaver. “Now is our opportunity to invest in and really showcase the wonderful care our team offers as we re-imagine the way we utilize space and present the community.”

What better place to start the rejuvenation than in the spa!
“From newly tiled showers and jacuzzi tubs right down to the heated towel bars, we’re creating a comfortable, relaxing and pleasant spa-like experience for our residents,” says Weaver.
In addition to the spa renovations, the communities will take advantage of the opportunity to relocate some amenities to better serve the residents. For example, the new Sage Meadow Fond du Lac activities room will be located on the first floor adjacent to the front porch so residents can enjoy outdoor access and direct light for gardening and other outdoor activities.
Other Sage Meadow communities will make existing spaces more functional. For instance, the Fond du Lac team is creating a new wellness center out of a previously underutilized space so residents can conveniently meet with doctors and healthcare providers in the comfort of their own community.
At the end of the day, all the paint, paper, polish and extreme makeover ingenuity will result in a lovelier home for Sage Meadow residents and a fitting setting for the quality care the Sage Meadow team continues to offer Wisconsin seniors and their families.
